REFERRING to the article (LET, September 4) on the Chief Constable's recruitment programme and the associated advert reproduced in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, I found that advert to be singularly ill-considered - to suggest that someone should be totally colour blind to apply for a position in the force is, to me, quite unacceptable.
It certainly does not suggest a total lack of colour prejudice.
