READSTONE United U16s were beaten 4-2 by Padiham Town Colts, goal scorer was Andy Bennett. They also drew 1-1 with Colne Clarets, Matt Mercer scored the goal with Jordan Wright man of the match.

The U15s gave a much improved performance, but they were still beaten 2-0 by Ighten Leigh. Arron Hanson was man of the match.

The U14s fielded a much weakened side due to holidays, but a tremendous performance resulted in a 2-1 victory over Great Harwood Rovers. Goal scorers were Ryan Gladwin and man of the match Joe Walker.

Another disappointing result for the UI3s, they were beaten 5-1 by Borrowdale. The U12s were beaten 6-2 by Ighten Leigh. After conceding two early goals, Readstone battled back, scoring two goals to equalise by half time. However, they were over run in the second half. Benjamin Heap scored both goals with Stuart Walkden man of the match. The U11s lost 4-3 to Fulledge Colts. They fought back to equalise after going 3-0 down, but then conceded a further goal. Despite dominating for the last ten minutes, they could not score again. Martin Pollard, Adam Sharples and man of the match Oliver Tyreman scored the goals.

The U10s drew 2-2 with Foulridge Minors in an entertaining game which was a credit to both teams. Kieran Laycock and Lewis Gray scored the goals and Jamie Mcue was man of the match.

The U10s North Valley League played a friendly against Grindleton School. Goal scorers were Craig Wilkinson (2), Jordan Brennand and Rudi Lockett in a 4-1 victory.
