COLIN Todd is easing former Rover Paul Warhurst back into the first team scene after four months on the treatment table, but he will only make the bench in the Worthington Cup at Gillingham tomorrow.
The injury-prone player forced his way back into the first team set up with a 20 minute substitue appearance at Charlton on Saturday, but boss Colin Todd reckons he is still out of shape. Warhurst has spent all summer on the physio's couch with a hamstring injury, making his first appearance with the reserves last week. With no new injury worries Colin Todd is likely to field a similar eleven which ran out at Charlton. Gudni Bergsson is likely to keep Greg Strong out of the running, while Andy Todd - sent off on Saturday - will start. Claus Jensen is still being monitored after his mystery injury - scans have shown nothing out of the ordinary - and is unlikely to be risked. South African Mark Fish is away on international duty. Squad: Branagan, Cox, Whitlow, Bergsson, Todd, Johansen, Hansen, Holdsworth, Gardner, Elliott, Frandsen, Warhurst, Gudjohnsen, Taylor, Philips, Banks, Jaaskelainen, Strong Aljofree.
