POLICE are searching for a 45-year-old man from Darwen who went missing after banging his head at work.
Christopher Michael Horan, who lives in the Anchor area with his girlfriend, was last seen leaving Blackburn Royal Infirmary at 4pm on September 7. He had gone to the hospital after the accident.
He left a message on a telephone answering service at his home yesterday, but a Darwen police spokesman said: "The situation cannot be resolved until we have actually spoken to Mr Horan to establish if he is safe and well.
"Although he has left a message we still don't know where he is."
Anybody with information should ring Darwen police on 01254 701777.
