VOLUNTEERS at Rossendale Hospice are hoping their millennium bug will be one people want to see on their computer!
The brightly coloured furry creatures, sold for a minimum of £1, are part of the hospice drive to raise £7,000. The bugs have an adhesive back which enables them to be attached to computers.
The millennium bug campaign was launched at Musbury Fabrics, Helmshore, and boxes of the creatures are ready to be dispatched to schools, businesses and shops.
Each year Rossendale Hospice needs to raise £250,000 to meet its running costs and last year alone 453 local people made use of its services.
For more information about the bugs contact the appeals office on 01282 240081.
