THE Millennium Bridge will not in anyway reduce the volume of traffic crossing Skerton Bridge and to many local tax-payers is seen as yet another way of spending their hard-earned money, foolishly.
I suggest that the bridge is named Folly Bridge, this name to be displayed on a large sign post at our end of the bridge under which a fixed heading should be fixed reading as follows: This folly was the brainchild of the following city councillors - (those who voted for the bridge to be named).
