Thanks to the Citizen, I am now in contact with nearly all the original members of Ice Factory (after ten years or so). I have even heard from our old manager, Duncan Moore who I had forgotten to add to the list. Within hours of the newspaper hitting the streets I received an e-mail from Geoff Dixon (keyboards), who had been bombarded with telephone calls. A couple of days later I received a 'phone call from Mark Mckenna (vocals), who is now in London. His Mum had seen my letter and sent a copy of the Citizen to him (does this count as national distribution?).
I have even received letters from former fans of Ice Factory requesting copies of the CD. I might have to start paying royalties to the rest of the band soon! We will be getting together at Christmas time, when I will be back in the area; maybe there will be talk of a reunion gig at the Dog and Partridge. Once again, many thanks.
