I WOULD like to state my disgust at our so-called main Post Office in Bury. No matter when one goes, there is always a large queue up to the front door.
There are nine windows, but the most I have seen in use is five. Is there a reason for this?
On my most recent trip there were only three windows open. The three ladies who were on duty coped splendidly, but it was no good for customers who are queuing.
There is also no privacy at all, and anyone in the main shop can see whether money is being withdrawn.
The public deserve better service than this. Why didn't the council spend some money on upgrading Crompton Street instead of allowing it to be turned into yet another pub? We have more than enough pubs in the town centre.
