ARNOLD School got their sums right when three pupils from the Blackpool school entered this year's UK Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
And among the top 500 young mathematicians in the country presented with a certificate, were Second Form pupils Laura Holloway and Rhiannon Williams.
But an outstanding effort from 12-year-old Phillip Moss earned him third place and a Bronze Medal.
Phillip is no stranger to the limelight, recently coming runner-up in the Schools Police Challenge.
Headmaster Bill Gillen said: "We are extremely proud of Phillip and his approach to life.
"Academically able, he relishes a challenge, is extremely personable and is definitely one to watch for the future."
