SEASIDERS boss Nigel Worthington has spoken of his disappointment at Indrek Zelinski's work permit being rejected.

The news was broken to Nigel yesterday that the special team of football experts assembled to decide Indrek's fate had turned the permit down.

But Nigel has vowed not to give up. He said: "The permit has been knocked back and so he can't join the club as of yet.

"It's very disappointing for me and everyone associated with the club, but now we've got to look to what next steps we can take.

"We have to speak to local MP's and the Department of Employment to see if they do anything to push the process along."

Every week it seems Indrek's signing grows in importance. With Blackpool struggling fourth from bottom, the team seem desperately in need of goals from the Estonian hot-shot.

"Results have been bad," admitted Nigel.

"But it really is a case of keeping going and doing very much the same thing.

"I have been pleased with the performances so far, but we're not getting the results.

"It's only when we can join the two together can we start climbing up the table.

"We're conceding too many easy goals and making simple mistakes that at the moment is costing us dearly.

"But we've been boosted by the return of David Bardsley, an important figure in the team. When he plays he gives us quality.

"The plan for Bournemouth on Saturday is to put in another good performance and get the three points.

"But it won't be easy and the fans have got to stick with us, come along and shout the lads on and get right behind the team."
