Bold Miners 40 Heysham Atoms18 BOLD blasted their opponents away with a powerful display of rugby.
They opened the scoring with an Ian Marsh penalty. Marsh added a good try a few minutes later and added the goal.
Gary Talbot scorched through the Atoms defence for a great touch down from 40 metres, Marsh again added the goal.
Peter Henry finished off a brilliant passing movement for another good score to make the score 18-nil at half time.
Heysham struck back straight after the break with two good tries and goals. But Bold's Lee Bednarzic crossed the line for a try following a great pass from Gareth Hill.
Dave Scott scored two more and Gareth Hill one, with Ian Marsh adding three goals.
Ian Marsh took the 'Grundy Excavations' man of the match award.
