Altrincham Kersal 15 West Park 15 THE 80 minutes were up with West Park leading 15-8 against an Altrincham Kersal side heavily augmented by Sale players so called 'on lease' only to have an opening league victory snatched from them in injury time by a converted try. The newly promoted Altrincham had scored a first half try and penalty but their physical approach cost them deer as they conceded a bevy of penalties.
Park's Glen Fletcher, keept up his recent good kicking form with five successful kicks from six attempts bringing his current record to 16 successes from 20.
The home side were very lucky to finish with a full complement of players as punch on Park's Elliott Laughton left him with a broken nose.
This Saturday Park entertain Trafford in the NPI Cup First Round with a 3pm kick off.
