ROVERS travelled to the coast for their first away game of the season and returned with all three points and a clean sheet as a bonus.
Blackpool tried to hustle and bustle their way through the game but Rovers' slick passing and movement kept them ahead of their hosts.
Rovers took the lead through Levi Wensley and soon increased it to 2-0 when Michelle Brindle scored with a good run and a powerful shot.
In the second half, Rovers carried on their good work with Amber King being outstanding in defence, and with Brindle and Wensley running midfield, Rovers increased their lead with these two interchanging passes and Wensley going on to score her second and Rovers' third goal.
The fourth goal came from a good run and shot by Brindle, which the keeper did well to save, but Rachel Whittaker followed the shot in and put the ball in the back of the net to give Rovers a deserved 4-0 win.
Rovers squad: S Groves, A King, A Prescott, M Brindle, L Wensley, D Ormandy, C Rhodes, J Horrocks, R Whittaker.
