TO celebrate a major facelift at Jewson, Bury, the timber and builders merchants will open its doors for the first time to Saturday afternoon and Sunday shoppers.
The event takes place this Saturday and Sunday, September 18/19 at the Higher Mills premises in Bridge Street.
The redeveloped branch has the best of Jewson under one roof. Attractions include a new decorating centre, a premier kitchen and bathroom showroom and doors and joinery section.
Dave McCarthy, Bury branch manager, said: "We've been involved in loads of local projects and supplied materials for the redevelopment of the world famous Bury Market and Bury FC.
"By extending our opening hours, we are giving customers a chance to see what we can offer. This is the first time we've opened our doors all weekend."
