HELEN Gaskell led from the front as Great Britain clinched two medals at the World Mountain Bike Championships in Sweden.
The 16-year-old Burnley-based rider fought bravely against atrocious conditions to clinch bronze in the women's Junior Downhill.
And Burnley's Ian Wilkinson showed his potential with 26th place in the Espoir (under 23) section despite being one of the youngest riders in the field.
Whitby's David Wardell won Britain's other medal, claiming silver in the men's Junior Downhill.
