DAVID Moyes has a triple injury headache ahead of tonight's Worthington Cup clash with Sheffield United at Deepdale.
The Preston manager is likely to be without last season's top scorer Kurt Nogan (foot) and wing-back Dominic Ludden (foot) for the second round return leg.
Both players missed the 2-0 win over Gillingham on Saturday and are major doubts for tonight's game.
Flying winger Lee Cartwright is also giving the boss cause for concern after he had eight stitches in a head wound sustained at the weekend.
Rob Edwards is pencilled in to deputise at left-back again while Paul McKenna could come into the starting line-up for Cartwright. New recruit Alex Mathie is likely to make his Deepdale debut partnering Jon Macken up front.
Squad: Moilanen, Alexander, Jackson, Kidd, Edwards, Cartwright, McKenna, Rankine, Gregan, Eyres, Macken, Mathie, Nogan, Ludden, Lucas, Eaton, Darby, Beesley, Wright.
