SLIM-line mother-of five Colette Smith shed seven-and-a-half stones in just 15 months so her children could see her trim.
And now the 32-year-old mum from Chorley has been picked as the Lancashire winner of the Slimmer's World Woman of the Year, with a chance to win the national final in November.
The regional final was held at the Centre Spot, Burnley, when nearly 200 people turned up to see 13 contestants, who had either lost more than three stones or were within one stone of their target weight.
Colette's consultant Lisa Mayor, said: "She has got the prize she most wanted, which was to lose the weight. She has now got down to her target weight of 10st 5lbs.
"She has five children aged 12 to two and after she had each child she didn't lose the weight she had gained in pregnancy.
"When she started at class she said her first child had never seen her slim and she didn't want her children to be teased at school because of her size."
"People on the night could not believe the before and after pictures of her."
All of the county's slimming classes had a representative at the evening and whether they had made it through to the regional final or not, each was presented with a medal and a bunch of flowers.
