HALFORDS superstore in Burnley has been working with the police to prevent auto crime in the area.
The store donated three security steering wheel disks which were entered into a prize draw and won by Raymond Judge, of Altham Street, and Stewart Hamilton, of Elgin Crescent, both of Burnley, and Miles Greenslade, of Leeds.
The draw was part of an auto crime scheme run by Burnley police which also involved free car stereo marking and screen etching.
PC Nic Fisher said: "The team set up in Burnley to reduce auto-crime have been working on it for a couple of months.
"There has been a reduction in auto-crime of 38 per cent in Burnley in that time and it is all done through highly professional operations.
"Operations are continuing and we are looking for help from the community relating to auto crime. Anyone with details can call us on a confidential line - 01282 472135."
