MAY I ask, on behalf of the market traders of St Helens, for the people to support their local market?
The average rate the council require is £350 per week. If the customers do not come in, how can the stallholders possibly meet this demand?
There has always been a market in St Helens, as there is in every country, city, town and village throughout the world. It would be a very sorry state if it had to close down.
So come on St Heleners, your local market needs you badly. As the saying goes, 'use it, or lose it.'
