A NEW organisation set up to help Asian elders in the Leigh and Wigan area will have its third meeting on Sunday.
The group, formed to encourage ethnic minorities to get together, first met in August at the Leigh Pensioners' Link Centre.
It has been started by Zia-ul Haque and is run in conjunction with Wigan Social Services Department.
He said: "It is the first group of its kind in the area and enables senior Asians to discuss health and social problems."
The next group meets at 5pm at the Link Centre, Charles Street.
For more information ring Mr Haque on 01942 260360, 01942 682282 or 0973 559457.
