DEEPDALE Duck could be on the verge of becoming a superstar, when he makes his debut in a pop video!
The six-foot duck, who normally performs in front of the Deepdale faithful at Preston North End, had the crowd in stitches on Tuesday night when he joined girl group Perfect 10 on the pitch as they performed for the fans at half-time.
Keeping in time with the group proved a tall-order for the duck, but his antics were captured on film by the group's production crew, and they reckon he'll be on the up-and-coming American group's video for their debut single, due to be released next month.
The Duck said: "I saw them performing and thought 'Hey, I can do that' so I went out and joined them.
"The fans seemed to love it but it was really tough keeping to the routine. I had to keep looking at them to make sure I didn't walk into them.
"But I didn't mind looking at them because they were very nice girls!"
He added: "I really want to be on MTV. I've been on lots of other channels but I really want to make it into this video."
