I AM writing to say thank-you for carrying my appeal for relatives or friends of my father and brother earlier this year.
After my appeal appeared in your paper my father's brother contacted me and told me he and his sister lived in Blackpool and that he would like to meet me.
I visited them in Blackpool and they informed me my father had passed away in Australia in 1992, but my brother was still living in Australia with his own family.
They gave me his phone number and address so I could contact him.
Once more can I again take this opportunity to say a great big thank-you to the staff at the Citizen for all their help in tracing them and for finding an uncle and aunty I never knew I had.
