IMPROVEMENTS costing £43,000 are to be made to the traffic signals at a major road junction in Parr.
St Helens Council's Highways sub-committee has agreed the scheme for the complex junction at Parr Stocks Road/Chancery Lane/Fleet Lane.
Committee chairman, Councillor Terry Hanley said: "In the past three years there have been eight personal injury accidents recorded at this junction and we need to improve safety for vulnerable road users."
