A 37-YEAR OLD solicitor from Rotherham has been chosen to represent the Conservatives at the next election.
David Nuttall was selected by the Morecambe and Lunesdale Conservative Association at a meeting last week.
After leaving school David studied by correspondence and gained a law degree from London University.
He now runs a solicitors practice and is particularly concerned with the problems faced by small business.
Speaking after his selection he said: "I'm delighted. It is a diverse constituency with coastal, rural and urban areas and I look forward to meeting and working with all the residents of Morecambe and the Lune Valley."
Mr Nuttall has served as a local councillor for four years and enjoys watching cricket and football and going walking.
