SMALL businesses are set to benefit from a brewery donation.
Whitbread's Samlesbury works has presented a £2,500 cheque to South Ribble Business Ventures.
The money will help fund a series of new training courses for local entrepreneurs.
"Our aim is to promote a healthy local economy and to encourage growth and development," said Tony Harrison, chief executive of SRBV.
"This would not be possible without the support of local businesses like Whitbread, who not only provide monetary support but also management expertise."
