BATTLING Margaret Seed has not let her fight against cancer get her down.
If anything the Mellor mum has found strength from her fight with the "big C" which has inspired her to help other sufferers and raise as much money as she can for research into the killer disease.
Margaret has written a booklet about her experiences with cancer in which she shares her thoughts and offers vital support and a positive attitude to others.
Already 350 copies have the booklet have been sold in bookshops and doctors' surgeries across East Lancashire.
But Margaret is determined that her message will reach even more people and is constantly raising funds to pay for the publishing costs - not bad for a woman who was given just two years to live in 1995.
Margaret said: "My booklet is aimed at people who have been diagnosed and are living with cancer. I want people to know that support is there if they need it and how a positive attitude has helped me."
The booklets cost just £2 each and all the proceeds from their sales go to the Christie Hospital, where Margaret is still undergoing treatment.
To pay for the publishing costs Margaret knits and raffles off toy dolls and animals. So far she has raised hundreds of pounds.
She said: "I want all the money raised from the booklets to go to Christie's so that is why I still need to raise money as well to pay for the costs."
The latest raffle, with a prize of a knitted clown, is at Beardwood Garden Centre, Blackburn, and has already raised £765.
Margaret's booklet is on sale at Bookland in Blackburn and KD Books in Clitheroe, or can be bought direct from Margaret by calling 01254 812904.
