A TEACHER at one of East Lancashire's most prestigious grammar schools has been suspended, it was revealed today.
The disciplinary action is believed to have followed a classroom incident involving a boy pupil at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School.
Head teacher Stuart Holt said: "I can confirm that a member of staff has been suspended pending a full investigation.
"It would be inappropriate at this stage to give any more details." The incident is believed to have occurred more than a week ago.
