CHILDREN at a Blackburn school can look forward to hours of fun in their new playground.
The play area at Broadlands School, Roman Road, has been revamped.
Previously the school had only climbing equipment, and no safety surfacing on the play area.
Safety surfacing has been put in, new play equipment has been added, and a new bike track has been created. The school caters for children with learning difficulties from the ages of three to five. Some children go on to special schools, while others go to local mainstream schools.
Mrs Mitchell said: "Our children are tiny and it is important that the play area is safety surfaced.
"The new play area has made such a difference. There is much more space."
