AMBITIOUS plans to transform Clitheroe town centre were set to spark a public outcry.
Redevelopment ideas for the controversial former auction mart site were to be unveiled to the public. Property consultants felt priority should be given to multi-storey car parking - which might have led to shoppers having to pay parking fees for the first time.
Approval was due to be sought at Ribble Valley Council's planning committee.
