A MAJOR milestone has been reached - more than 300 East Lancashire managers have now signed up for NVQ level four and five qualifications through ELTEC.
Michael Barratt, general manager at Great Harwood-based Schlumberger Metflex, became the 300th to join the NVQ centre based at Clayton-le-Moors.
"We operate in worldwide markets and have to keep a sharp competitive edge," said Mr Barratt.
"I believe that good management and a highly trained and committed workforce is the key to achieving this."
"That is why I decided to boost my management skills by embarking on the NVQ."
