SAMARITANS in Blackburn have taken to the road to spread their message to people all over town.
The Blackburn branch of the organisation, which offers help to people who are distressed or in despair, has had its message painted on to a Blackburn Transport bus, free of charge.
Joyce Flitcroft, director of the branch, said: "This has been done to heighten awareness of the work the Samaritans do.
"The big advantage of using a bus is that it will reach every district of the town, to tell people that our phone lines are open 24 hours a day."
"We would like to thank Blackburn Transport for all their help which we appreciate a great deal."
