SO Blackburn's planners are at it again - we might see the closure of Church Street in the near future (LET, September 17).
Don't they realise that, in the past, they have caused enough chaos in and around the town with their hare-brained planning? Church Street is bad enough as it is. They should be trying to attract people into town, not trying to deter them.
There will be no way in and out of Blackburn soon if it's left to certain people. If they are so keen on shutting up the town centre, let's erect a fence all the way round the boundary of the town, then nobody can get in or out. Then, it will be nice and peaceful.
