I SEE that Councillor Adrian Shurmer has dropped his support for the Tories on Hyndburn Council and is now even considering throwing his hand in with Labour (LET, September 24).
It may be interesting if he did agree to support Labour, that his first duty was to support the traffic-calming measures in Henry Street, Church, which were put on hold by the Tories under protest from the Labour group.
That would be very interesting, don't you think?
