BRAVE hound Scooby is hanging his nose up - after sniffing out more than £300,000 of drugs at Leyland's Garth Prison.
The supreme sniffer is giving way to new pup Ben, due to failing eyesight.
Scooby was so successful in his prime that inmates at the prison put a price on his head and an armed guard had to be brought in to protect him and his handler John Reader.
More than 200 arrests were made during Scooby's reign as he caught people attempting to take drugs into the prison.
Ben will join Scooby's old partner Barney in the fight to keep drugs out of Garth - and guards hope he will live up to his record-breaking predecessor.
