PUPILS who attend schools, particularly Roman Catholic schools, claim they are receiving religious teaching or religious instruction.
Their knowledge of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Zoroastinism, Confucisism, is non existent however.
In fact, in reality they are being instructed in Christian propaganda.
Surely this is not democracy, but is conditioning by teachers who are not encouraging pupils to think for themselves. Maybe these tutors know nothing about the alternative religious theologies or sects themselves?
In a multi-racial, multi-religion society this surely is not in any way compatible with freedom of worship, thought or individual choice.
Ignorance of philosophy is also prevalent, today's pupils know absolutely nothing regarding Socrates, Plato, Voltaire etc. The sages who helped form today's society and maintain the democratic system prevalent in Britain and other western societies.
