PUPILS of Hodgson High School Technology College have ensured their grounds are blooming marvellous by planting daffodil bulbs.
All 225 Year 7 pupils each planted a bulb as part of Hodgson in Bloom - a programme to enhance the grounds of the school- which is bidding for a BT Millennium Garden award of £1,000.
Spokesman for the school Bill Allison said: "This is part of our programme to smarten up the whole grounds.
"The bulbs have been planted at the front of the school so, when they flower, not only will they be enjoyed by students and staff but passers-by will also be able to share in their beauty."
