NEWLY crowned British Champion Morecambe man John McGuinness led the way from start to finish at the final British Championship race at Donnington on Saturday.
McGuinness disposed of the early challenge of Jamie Robinson before the Yorkshireman's machine seized with eight laps to go.
That meant an unprecedented twelve out of twelve rostrum finishes for the 25 year old. But the 10.4 victory was only his second victory of the year as he rode for points during the season.
Said John: "Finishing second or third really hurts but as I've said all season long, it's the war that matters not the individual battles.
"When that kind of pressure is off I know I can win races as I've proved once again.
"No-one was going to beat me this weekend I was so fired up.."
