FOLLOWING a string of new business wins, Prestwich-based Appleby Bowers has appointed Andrew Chesters as graphic designer.
The company, located in Bury Old Road, is one of Manchester's most dynamic marketing communications agencies.
Andrew, 23, recently completed a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design at Staffordshire University and, after excelling in a four week work placement scheme, was offered a permanent position with the firm.
Appleby Bowers' recent account gains includes a major corporate ID project for the bakery chain, Waterfields, and marketing and design assignments for Bolton Wide, the industrial development and enterprise group.
The agency has also added Tappers & Pointers, Whitefield Fabrications, Leonards, Package Care, Bury Chamber and the National Fire Safety Charity for Children to its extensive client base.
Partner, Bernie Bowers commented: "Appleby Bowers has been enjoying considerable growth and we have been looking to recruit talented individuals to help us continue our success.
"Andrew demonstrated his ability during his work experience and we are delighted to reward his talent and commitment with a permanent post."
