PUPILS at St Mary's RC High School were treated to a day off from the regular timetable on Friday (October 1) to celebrate Friendship Day.
All 241 Year 7 pupils took part in the day, designed to enable them to build on friendships they had established since the beginning of term.
Head of Year 7 Cath Binks said: "The day enabled the pupils to get to know each other more personally in a relaxed, friendly environment. "Judging by the number of happy, smiling faces at the end it seems to have been successful."
