Rylands 16 West Sutton Dragons 23
THE Dragons put their poor start to the league campaign behind them to record a very hard-fought away victory in this Lancashire cup tie.
In atrocious conditions both teams gave their all and at times produced some good open rugby.
Tries for the visitors came from hard-working prop Jay Mcabe, Shaun McNamara and two from Kyle Peters, with Greg Stubbs adding three goals and a drop goal.
In a good all round team effort, Dragons were well served by man-of-the-match Chris Wilson, Colin Rogers, Andy Wilburn, Dave Rogers and in particular debutant Paul Rigby who was outstanding throughout.
