FUND-RAISERS are being sought to take part in the Millennium's toughest challenge . . .
Teams of six are needed to enter the Gallipoli 6 Krypton 2000 Endurance Race - a six-mile run around Holcombe Moor followed by the gruelling Krypton Factor Assault Course.
The event, in aid of the Fusiliers Museum Lancashire Appeal and the Army Benevolent Fund, will be staged towards the end of May.
It is hoped that more than £20,000 will be raised towards the £750,000 cost of creating a state-of-the-art Fusilier Museum in the Castle Armoury Drill Hall.
The event is open to army/military adults, cadets/CCF, schools, veterans over 45, civilian men and women, and mixed teams.
Companies wishing to sponsor the event or teams willing to take part are invited to contact co-organiser Mr Tony Sprason at Wellington Barracks on 0161 764 2208.
