SEVENTH last year, Daniel Harper and Les Reger are aiming for a place in the top five on the Tour of Mull.
Consistent class winners on both Mintex and BTRDA events this year, the Mini Sport of Padiham pairing will be among the pace setters in their left-hand-drive Vauxhall Astra GSi.
"Mull is a notoriously tough event, but we'll be looking to get into the top five," said Les.
"Last year was our first time in a left hooker and we finished seventh. Looking at what achieved so far, I reckon we can improve on that. But there a lot of very good drivers taking part, no-one can underestimate the likes of John Price, John Cressey and Billy Bird."
And Daniel and Les, who are backed by Mini Sport's Powerzone division, have switched from a descriptive to numerical pace-note system for Mull.
The change allows for greater accuracy when Les 'calls' the approaching bends to Daniel, with higher average speeds and a reduction in stage times.
