TWO East Lancashire probation officers have clocked up their "silver jubilee" 25 years with the service.
Walter Waide, from Rossendale, and Janet Robinson, from Waddington, were presented with awards at headquarters in Preston.
The duo were two of six people from across the county who have reached their 25 years at the same time.
During their careers the pair have worked in almost every aspect of probation work, including the family courts, upholding the interests of children in family breakdown.
Chief Probation Officer John Crawforth said: "I pay tribute to the determination and dedication of all our officers and I am very proud of these six officers who by their long service have demonstrated their commitment to serving the public of Lancashire."
