STAFF at a call centre are helping make a millennium event a major success.
Interactive Communications is working with the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce on liaising with schools for the IT 2000 event being staged next month.
The technology roadshow, at Ewood Park from November 15 to 19, is aimed at seven to 11-year-olds.
Glenfield Park-based Interactive Communications, is handling telemarketing for the event to which thousands of schoolchildren throughout the North West are being invited.
The contract is the latest recently won by the call centre which works with a wide range of UK firms. The firm is also working with staff from the Chamber of Commerce and the Invest in Britain Bureau to attract international customers.
And the firm is staging an open day on October 19 to demonstrate its services to local firms.
