THE name of Frank Christie will be on the Fraser Cup for the first time following his two-win triumph for Preston Bowling Club at Lockerbie.
While the other Preston skips struggled to read the ice, Frank came to the fore, as all stand-in skips would aspire to do.
By playing the swinging ice to perfection and with the rest of his rink on top form, they came first, winning by six clear shots in the morning and by three clear shots in the afternoon game. Frank took the top prize of the day in the Fraser Cup.
