I WRITE in response to the letter by 'Angry Pagan Parent' on the teaching of Christianity.
This begs the question why did this pagan became a parent in the first place if he/she feels so strongly about this issue. Indeed, some atheists/pagans refuse to become parents because they do not desire to morally indoctrinate their
potential offspring.
It is good parenting to teach children to be tolerant and understanding of those who are different from them. As a Christian, I will teach my children about Christianity as well as Islam and Judaism etc., as well as other philosophies.
I hope that I will have the grace to do this in a sensitive
way as to allow my children to choose their own way when that day comes.
