MAY I through your letters column record our grateful thanks to Mike Stainton (Developer at the former Craig Children's Home in Bare) for generously donating to International Aid Trust many items which are being cleared in the development process - a central heating boiler, commercial washing machines, beds, toys - and especially for the swings, roundabouts and outdoor play equipment. The Probation Service have volunteered to organise the painting and renovation of the outdoor equipment.
All these goods will be shipped out to our camps on the Black Sea where this year 1,700 children have been given holidays and where they will be appreciated and enjoyed.
A big thank you is also due to Ray Fox and Mark at Vickers Ltd for providing the transport to enable us to collect these donations from the Craig Home. We couldn't have done it without them.
Bill Rushworth,
International Aid Trust
