AT Saturday's first home defeat by Notts County, I was dismayed to see the number of Bury supporters streaming off like sulking schoolboys when the third goal was scored.
Every Bury player had given one hundred per cent effort in that game, in particular "man of the match" Chris Billy.
I then compared Bury's fans with Manchester City supporters who have put up with rubbish displays for many years, but still give ten times the support that the Bury public gives. That is what I call true support, and I take my hat off to them.
So Bury supporters, stop whingeing, whining and crying for Warnock's head all the time and just think yourselves lucky to have a manager who will take on a club with this type of support.
Encourage - don't discourage - the players and let's get back in the First Division where we belong.
