CLITHEROE have been forced to switch their FNWTL Division One clash with Leek CSOB to Shawbridge tomorrow.
The match was originally scheduled to take place at Leek where the hosts have a ground-sharing agreement with UniBond outfit Leek Town.
But when Town lost an FA Cup clash they rearranged a fixture for tomorrow and told their tenants they would have to make alternative arrangements.
"I feel our League should have stood firm," said Clitheroe boss Steve Parry. "Instead they bowed to the UniBond League and forced us into this late switch. But nothing they do surprises me.
"We now have a home fixture and we will be looking to get three points from it."
In an added complication Clitheroe's reserves have a home game tonight which Parry said the League are forcing them to play.
That could make the state of the pitch a problem for the Leek match less than 24 hours later.
On the playing front, former Burnley youngster James Webster has been signed from Rhyl.
Parry is waiting for clearance from the Welsh FA for the midfielder.
Striker Brian Welch is a doubt after making a 20-minute midweek comeback after an Achilles problem.
Carl Greenwood has a rib injury and is rated at 50-50.
