GOOD early season form from five Lytham hockey players has caught the eye of the Lancashire Schools' selectors.
The quintet from King Edward and Queen Mary School in Lytham have been called up for assessment and trials for the Lancashire County teams.
1ST XI captain and full back Kerry Hunt will be accompanied in the senior trial by Vicky Turner who represented the full England side last season and Karen Lowe. Rebecca Minto and school U15s skipper Natalie Gill are both in line for the County U16s team.
School hockey coach Clare Huggon feels the call-up is a deserved reward for some hard work in training.
